விடுதலைபுலிகள் பலம்பெற்ற பிரேமதேசாதான் காரணமாவார்.

இலங்கைக்கு அமைதிப் பணியில் ஈடுபடுவதற்காக வந்த இந்திய அமைதி காப்புப் படையினர், ஈழத் தமிழ் பெண்களை பாலியல் பலாத்காரம் செய்ததாக விடுதலைப்புலிகள் இயக்க முன்னாள் தலைவர்களில் ஒருவரும், இலங்கை அமைச்சருமான விநாயகமூர்த்தி முரளிதரன் என்ற கருணா குற்றம்சாட்டினார்.

இதுதொடர்பாக இலங்கை நாடாளுமன்றத்தில் அவர் செவ்வாய்க்கிழமை பேசியதாவது:

விடுதலைப்புலிகளுக்கும், இலங்கை ராணுவத்துக்கும் இடையே சண்டை நடைபெற்றுக் கொண்டிருந்தபோது, இலங்கையில் அமைதிப் பணியில் ஈடுபடுவதற்காக இந்திய அமைதி காப்புப் படையினர் (ஐபிகேஎஃப்) வந்தனர். இலங்கையில் அவர்கள், 1987-ஆம் ஆண்டு முதல் 1990-ஆம் ஆண்டு வரை இருந்தனர்.

இந்தக் காலகட்டத்தில், ஈழத் தமிழ் பெண்கள் ஏராளமானோரை அவர்கள் பாலியல் பலாத்காரம் செய்தனர். மேலும், தமிழர்கள் ஏராளமானோரையும் கொலை செய்தனர். அதற்கு ஆதாரம் உள்ளது.

இலங்கை கடற்பகுதிக்குள் தமிழக மீனவர்கள் அத்துமீறி வருகின்றனர். அவர்களை இலங்கைக் கடற்படையினர் திறன்பட தடுத்து நிறுத்தி வருகின்றனர்.

விடுதலைப்புலிகள் முன்பு பலம்பெற்ற அமைப்பாக உருவெடுத்ததற்கு முன்னாள் அதிபர் பிரேமதேசாதான் காரணமாவார். விடுதலைப்புலிகளுக்கு அவர்தான், 5,000 ஆயுதங்களை அளித்தார். இதனால்தான், 1989-ஆம் ஆண்டில் 350-ஆக இருந்த விடுதலைப்புலிகளின் எண்ணிக்கை 3 மாதங்களில் 6,000 ஆக அதிகரித்தது.

இலங்கை அரசுக்கு எதிராக ஐ.நா. சபை விசாரணை நடத்த வேண்டும் என்று தமிழ்த்தேசிய கூட்டமைப்பினர் வலியுறுத்தி வருகின்றனர். இதன்மூலம், இலங்கையில் அமைதியை சீர்குலைக்க அவர்கள் முயற்சிக்கின்றனர் என்றார் அவர்.

முன்னதாக, நாடாளுமன்றத்தில் பேசிய முக்கிய எதிர்க்கட்சியான ஐக்கிய தேசியக் கட்சியினர், "பயங்கரவாதத் தலைவராக இருந்து, பின்னர் இலங்கை சுதந்திரா கட்சி தலைமையிலான கூட்டணியின் மூத்த தலைவராகி விட்டார்' என்று கருணா மீது குற்றம்சாட்டினர்.

அதற்கு கருணா பதிலளித்து பேசுகையில், "ஐக்கிய தேசியக் கட்சி குறித்த பல ரகசிய தகவல்கள் தனக்குத் தெரியும். அதை வெளியிட நேரிடும்' என்று எச்சரிக்கை விடுத்தார்.

.Karuna accuses IPKF of rape, murder

Former LTTE member and now a Government Deputy Minister, Vinayagamurthi Muralitharan alias Karuna Amman, today accused the Indian Peace Keeping Force (IPKF) of rape during the war in Sri Lanka.

Speaking in Parliament today, Muralitharan said that the IPKF, who conducted peacekeeping operations in Sri Lanka from between 1987 and 1990, had raped several Tamil women and also killed Tamils.

“There is evidence for that,” Muralitharan, who was once in charge of the LTTE operations in the East, said.

He also praised the navy saying they were preventing Indian fishermen from poaching in Sri Lankan waters and taking away what belongs to Sri Lankan fishermen in the north.

Muralitharan also warned the opposition UNP saying he will not hesitate to reveal a lot of information if the UNP continues to raise allegations against him.

He accused former President Ranasinghe Premadasa of strengthening the LTTE by giving the rebels more weapons.

Muralitharan said that around 1989 only 350 LTTE cadres remained in the outfit but it eventually grew in numbers as a result of the actions of Premadasa.

“He gave 5000 weapons to the LTTE. That 300 changed into 6000 in 3 months,” he said.

Muralitharan warned the UNP saying if they continue to make allegations against him then he will “reveal many secrets” which will harm the future of the UNP.

The Deputy Minister also accused the Tamil National Alliance (TNA) of attempting to scuttle the peace by promoting the UN led investigation on Sri Lanka. (Colombo Gazette)
